Marissa Montefreddi *200HR Teacher Training Facilitator Once working in a 9-5 career, Marissa chose to leave it behind to focus on her own personal yoga practice, without the intention of becoming a yoga teacher. Immediately after receiving her 200 RYT she began teaching, wanting to bring the peace and clarity she felt from her yoga practice to others. A few years later she went on to receive her 500 RYT through Sri Dharma Mitra, her practice and teachings then began to evolve into a deeper more spiritual practice. She is forever grateful to share Sri Dharma Mittra's physical and spiritual teachings with others. "Everything is perfect, that is the beauty of yoga; to bring out conciousness to this level." Amy Adams For Amy, yoga is a connection of our body, mind and spirit which brings an inner peace and connectedness to all. Amy enjoys the quiet moments of life and comes from a space of continual learning and educating to become a better person for this world. She decided to embark on a life changing experience and complete her RYT 200 training, however she did not realize the profound impact that yoga would have on her entire life. When she began her yoga teacher training she quickly learned yoga is much more than just poses. Yoga is creating a greater connection to yourself through meditation, breath work and physical movement. From this experience, she sees the world through a new lens and feels a sense of spiritual peace and calm like never before. She believes each person needs to be met where they are, accepts them for who they are and hopes to illuminate the beauty within each individual through yoga.

Marguerite Manarisi Yoga found Marguerite about 10 years ago when she was in her first years of teaching special education. Without knowing exactly what was drawing her closer, she continued to practice and attend classes. When she returned to NJ, she became a member of a local yoga studio and became deeply immersed. Although she was attracted to the physical aspects of yoga there was more holding her attention. Overtime she began to connect deeper to herself and find a serene peace and calmness that translated off her mat and throughout her life. At that time Marguerite was teaching preschool special education and they practiced yoga every morning together. She continuously saw the wide range of benefits. As a result she began to deepen her practice and started to realize how much it had shaped her life and perspective. Yoga has allowed her to build an unyielding steadfastness within herself that allows her to stand in her own light when the world may be spinning. “There is a deep connection with All that is through yoga".” She then pursued her 200hr training in order to bring the same peace, connectedness, and stability to others that yoga has brought her.

Joell loves nature and all four seasons! She is an active snowboarder, hiker, surfer and paddle boarder. She is an animal lover as well, with an extreme fondness for the bully breeds. She is grateful for all the wonderful people in her life but wants to give a big shout out to her mom and dad, Joann and Artie Lanfrank, her business partner Erin Peluso and Chachi and Isabella, the chihuahua and pit bull in her life. PEACE.

Kelly Cerbone Kelly has spent the last 14 years working part-time in the fitness industry. She loved the physical movement: challenge, perseverance, dedication; but needed something for her mind. She completed her 200 RYT this past July. Little did she know how much this experience would transform how she sees and perceives the world. As a veteran 7th grade school teacher, Kelly recognized how asana, mindfulness and community would greatly benefit her students. She most recently took a course on Yoga Calm for kids and began infusing these practices into her classroom. Kelly enjoys inspiring and empowering today’s youth, as well as adults, through the practice of yoga, mindfulness and reflection. “Yoga does not transform the way we see things. It transforms the person who sees.” -B.K. Iyengar
